2. Data collected

Desktop Early Access packages are currently offered as direct downloads without a NeuraMuse download-registration form. When you contact us, we collect the contact details and message you submit. If you request a trial extension, the form collects your email address, operating system, exact computer name, any additional LINK computer names you choose to provide, whether you are testing LINK Multiroom, and an optional note.

For normal website operation and security, the hosting infrastructure may process standard technical request information such as timestamps, requested resources, IP/network information, user-agent data and server logs. NeuraMuse does not intentionally use advertising or profiling analytics on the site.

The Windows and macOS desktop builds require internet access for first activation and periodic licence validation. The licensing service processes technical and licence-status information necessary to perform those checks.

3. Purposes and legal bases

• Direct software downloads: to deliver the requested public Early Access packages and maintain the security and availability of the download service. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in operating and securing the service and, where applicable, taking steps at your request.
• Security and abuse prevention: to protect the download service, investigate failures or misuse, and maintain basic technical records. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in operating and securing the service.
• Contact requests: to reply to questions you send us. The legal basis depends on the nature of your request and may include steps at your request or our legitimate interest in responding.
• Trial-extension requests: to identify the relevant desktop licence/device and apply the Early Access extension you request. The legal basis is taking steps at your request and our legitimate interest in operating the Early Access licensing service.
• Software activation and licence validation: to activate the desktop Early Access build and periodically validate licence status. The legal basis depends on the requested software access and our legitimate interest in protecting and operating the licensing service.

4. Required and optional data

No personal-data form is required to download the Windows or macOS desktop Early Access packages. Contact-form fields are required only when you choose to send a message. For a trial-extension request, email, operating system and the exact computer name are required because they are needed to identify and manage the requested licence extension; additional LINK computer names and the note field are optional unless you want extensions applied to those additional machines.

5. Recipients and service providers

Data may be processed by service providers used to host and operate the NeuraMuse website and email infrastructure, acting as processors or independent controllers where applicable. Data is not sold to advertisers.

6. International transfers

The current website is designed to avoid third-party analytics and third-party web-font calls. If a service provider processes personal data outside the European Economic Area, an appropriate transfer mechanism will be used where required by law.

7. Retention

Support/contact data, website security logs and licence-validation records are retained only for as long as reasonably necessary to provide support, operate and protect the Early Access service, maintain licence status and meet applicable legal obligations. We periodically review stored records and remove data that is no longer needed.

8. Your rights

Subject to the conditions provided by applicable data-protection law, you may request access to your personal data, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, portability where applicable, and object to processing based on legitimate interests. Where processing is based on consent, you may withdraw consent at any time.

9. Cookies and similar technologies

This version of the NeuraMuse website does not intentionally use advertising, profiling or third-party analytics cookies. Standard technical data may still be processed by the hosting infrastructure to deliver and secure the website. If non-essential tracking technologies are introduced later, this policy and the consent interface will be updated before they are used where consent is required.

10. Automated decision-making

The website and current direct-download flow do not use automated decision-making that produces legal or similarly significant effects.

11. Changes to this policy

This policy may be updated as NeuraMuse, its hosting, telemetry or commercial structure evolves. The latest version will always be published on this page with an updated date.
