1. Data controller

2. Data collected
When you register to download a NeuraMuse Early Access build, we collect the information you enter in the form: first name, last name, email address, country, primary use, and any optional audio-setup or DAC/audio-interface information you choose to provide.
When you contact us, we collect the contact details and message you submit. For security and download telemetry, the website also records a generated registration identifier, timestamps, a pseudonymised network identifier derived using a server-side secret, and limited technical request information necessary to operate and protect the service.
3. Purposes and legal bases
- Download registration and access: to process your request for the NeuraMuse installer, administer access and provide related support. The legal basis is taking steps at your request before a possible contractual relationship and, where applicable, performance of requested services.
- Security and abuse prevention: to protect the download service, investigate failures or misuse, and maintain basic technical records. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in operating and securing the service.
- Contact requests: to reply to questions you send us. The legal basis depends on the nature of your request and may include steps at your request or our legitimate interest in responding.
- Product news and marketing: only if you separately opt in. The legal basis is your consent. You may withdraw it at any time without affecting the lawfulness of processing carried out before withdrawal.
4. Required and optional data
Fields marked as required in the download form are needed to process the registration request. Optional audio-setup information does not have to be provided. Marketing consent is optional and is never required to download NeuraMuse.
5. Recipients and service providers
Data may be processed by service providers used to host and operate the NeuraMuse website and email infrastructure, acting as processors or independent controllers where applicable. Data is not sold to advertisers.
6. International transfers
The current website is designed to avoid third-party analytics and third-party web-font calls. If a service provider processes personal data outside the European Economic Area, an appropriate transfer mechanism will be used where required by law.
7. Retention
Registration and support data is retained only for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the requested access/support, maintain security, manage the early-access programme, and meet applicable legal obligations. Download-event records are retained only for operational and security analysis. Marketing contact details are retained until consent is withdrawn or the marketing purpose is otherwise discontinued. We periodically review stored records and remove data that is no longer needed.
8. Your rights
Subject to the conditions provided by applicable data-protection law, you may request access to your personal data, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, portability where applicable, and object to processing based on legitimate interests. Where processing is based on consent, you may withdraw consent at any time.

9. Cookies and similar technologies
This version of the NeuraMuse website does not intentionally use advertising, profiling or third-party analytics cookies. Standard technical data may still be processed by the hosting infrastructure to deliver and secure the website. If non-essential tracking technologies are introduced later, this policy and the consent interface will be updated before they are used where consent is required.
10. Automated decision-making
The website registration form does not use automated decision-making that produces legal or similarly significant effects.
11. Changes to this policy
This policy may be updated as NeuraMuse, its hosting, telemetry or commercial structure evolves. The latest version will always be published on this page with an updated date.
